The door opens to one of the nice temperate forests of Tennessee and down in a valley a wooden fort can be seen. No dinosaurs are in sight but judging by the tracks, they've been here.
As if the tracks weren't enough of an argument, there is an earth shaking roar and the awkward fire of muskets from the fort. The front gates still stand as do all four walls.

Zatanna eyes their outfits with curiosity. "Did Bar make your outfits too?"

Date: 2009-04-21 08:10 am (UTC)"Good to see you Will, Hawkeye. It does seem a bit like Sherwood, yes." The air is just a little different in its smell, most likely because there were no dinosaurs in Sherwood.

Date: 2009-04-21 11:21 pm (UTC)"Hey, you made it." Discreet kiss to his cheek, before checking her quiver.
She grinned at Ben, "Wouldn't leave home without them. They're pretty strong." She got out one of the tranq arrows.

When she fails to get much of a reaction, she starts casting magic.
"Gninthgil!" There is a loud boom and a streak of lightning, that should act like an over sized cattle prod, aimed straight at the middle of it's back.

Date: 2009-04-27 08:14 pm (UTC)"Capt'in, you think you can handle these controls an' I go help Zee? Or how 'bout Wil an' Hawkeye, you wanna stay here or help Zee?"
Down in the valley, Zee's lightning does a good job of getting the elder Allosaur's attention. It takes a direct hit and is now quite pissed off, enough that it has forgotten the fort and it's young.

The juvenile Allosauruses are now about 100 yards behind their mother and closing fast.

Date: 2009-05-04 07:22 pm (UTC)Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on point of view, the mother is still worked up by Zatanna's lightening and seems to have forgotten her young. She reaches the crest of the hill a few paces behind Ben who has made it to the other side of the time platform having ran around it.
