"Chose another victim then," Angrir says. Ben turns to face Angrir and sees the hole he had made in the tile is now oozing black tar.
"What? he says confused.
Angrir points to the tar. "Embrace the fear, become strong and chose the next victim. If you would save this pathetic life, embrace the fear and chose the target."
Ben chokes on his fear but then again he's never let fear stop him before. He steps forward and stands before the tar pit. "How do I know I can trust you."
"You can't. Embrace the fear. Save her."
Ben steps forward and falls into the fear, drowning.
