"I'll tell you about the future. There's gonna be nothing left--nothing for you to change! You can't fix the future and you can't fix me..." Angrir screams at the unconscious Reed until Susan's force-field pelting him catches his attention.
"That's enough!" She yells.
"All right...you've got my attention," Angrir says dropping Reed and turning to Susan. He looms above her and raises the hammer. "I know you blame me for what happened to Johnny. I know you hate me for letting him die. You think you hate me now? Wait 'til you see what I do next."
Susan stands her ground, not giving an inch. "I don't blame you, Ben. I could never hate you. But if that's what you think...after all we've been through...I pity you," she says her resolution to save Ben stronger than ever. She wraps him in a force field, cutting off any air. She will save him but not at the price of the city or any other lives. "What happened to Johnny wasn't your fault. You didn't let him die...no more than I'm going to let you be consumed by this...this evil."
