Ben freezes when he sees Reed scream. "NO!" he screams helplessly. He looks around the room he finds himself in and realizes it's filled with odd machines. Now that he thinks about it there have been more machines as he's been running. He walks over to one, still scared but maybe he can do something with them, help somehow. His hands shake but he reaches out...to pull back.
What if the machines make things worse? He has no idea what they can do. He steels himself and reaches out again only to be shocked by an invisible electric field...a field protecting the machines? That would mean the machines can do something. Ben dares not hope as he looks around for some sort of control panel.
